  Scope of Position:
 
  • Collaborates with the Manager as primary point of contact within and outside the organization on technical and administrative matters involving the company’s employee and labor-management functions.
  • Coordinates with Managers in recommending, implementing, administering and evaluating employee policies and programs.
  • Implements the employee relations programs including employee welfare and services, industrial relations, rewards and recognition and employee activities.
  • Initiates the disciplinary action process, ensuring that due process is rendered to employees by a) reviewing the notice to explain; b) investigating facts of the case; c) conducting hearing and/or assuring that all involved parties are heard; Makes recommendations on the appropriate disciplinary sanction.
  • Ensures that grievance handling and disciplinary proceedings are carried out in line with company policy and local labor legislation.
  • Assists in the resolution of specific disciplinary or grievance cases, including acting as an arbiter between the employee and line manager.
  • Drafts memorandum for review, issues the same to employee; conducts employee counseling and consultation in coordination with line managers
  • Handles the Performance Management process from issuance of forms, monitoring of records and other critical incident reports, scoring and interpretation of performance evaluation results.
  • Ensures compliance by Managers and other concerned parties with the Performance Management policy and related guidelines.
  • Communicates and provides strategic insights on HR policy interpretation and implementation.
  • Promotes and provides venue for employee feedback / complaints / concerns, and ensure speedy response and action to meet internal customer expectation.
  Qualifications:
 
  • College Graduate with Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Behavioral Science and other related courses
  • At least 3 (three) years of work related experience
  • Good interpersonal skills and the ability to exercise independent judgment Excellent verbal & written communication skills
