1624 IDD is an international direct dial (IDD) service. It can be accessed by dialing 1624 + Country code + area code + phone number.

How do I register?

You can register by calling our Customer Service Hotline 852 2850 7733 or by filling up the registration form and return to any Owtel shop.

Is there any registration fee?

No.

How many phone numbers can I register?

No limit.

After registration, when can I start using the service?

You can use the service right away.

What is the rate calling to the Philippines?

It depends on your plan. Simply call our Customer Service Hotline 852 2850 7733 for more details.

How can I receive my bill?

We will send you a monthly statement through mail or SMS.

How can I pay my bill?

You can pay through 7-11 by using your IDD membership card or pay at any Owtel shop.

Can I pay by cheque?

Yes. Please make your cheque payable to “OWT Asia Ltd” and post to P.O. Box 33784, Sheung Wan, Hong Kong.

I am a current subscriber, how can I change my address and my registered phone numbers?

You can call our Customer Service Hotline 852 2850 7733 to change your personal information.

Will I be charged if I cancel the service?

No. You would receive no bill if there is no usage record.

Will I get charged if nobody answers my call?

No. There is no connection charge.

How will I know if I have referral rewards?

Once your referrals started using the service, you will get up to 8% referral credit of what ever they have used. The adjustment will be reflected in your next bill statement. Start to login your account & refer as many friends as you like.

For how long can we enjoy the discount?

Lifetime, as long as your referrals are using the service.

Can I change my referrer?

No. We can cancel the referral but we can’t change your referrer.

Can I register my mobile phone number only?

Yes, as long as you have a residential phone number for reference.

Can I use 1624 IDD to call all over the world?

Yes.

Is there any monthly charge?

No.

Is there any reconnection fee?

No.

How often can I change my plan?

Once a month.

How much is the One World Phonecard?

HK$50 face value per card.

How many minutes can I use from One World Phonecard?

50 minutes with flat rate to call back Philippines.

Is there any connection charge?

How to use the One World Phonecard?

Simply dial access number, enter PIN number after voice prompt, and then enter destination phone number. (Country Code + Area Code + Phone Number + #)

Will I get charged if no one answers my call?

How can I apply for mobile phone installment?

Simply fill up the Application Form and return to any Owtel shop with the following copies: HKID card, employment contract (valid at least 8 months), Visa, proof of address and one guarantor with requirement same as the applicant.

Can I apply for mobile phone installment if my current 1624 IDD has not been paid yet?

Yes.

Can I apply if I am not an Owtel member?

Yes.

Can I pick my mobile phone right away?

We need 7 working days to process your application. We will call you for confirmation right after.

Is there any processing fee?

Yes, $100. It will be deducted from your down payment.

How can I know if my application is successful?

We will call you when the mobile phone is available.

Can I buy more than one mobile phone?

Yes, as long as you meet the requirements.

How long are the installment plans?

3 months or 6 months.

Does your mobile phone get warranty?

Yes.

Can I ask my friend or relative to take the mobile phone for me?

Yes. They should bring an authorization letter authentically signed by both party.

How to pay my installment plan?

You can pay through 7-11 by using your installment card or pay at any Owtel shop.

How much is the down payment?

25% of the total amount of the product.

If I can’t pay on time, is there any additional charge?

$10 per day.
